We can hardly believe it ourselves, but that time of year has returned. Metro is abuzz with back-to-school chatter revolving around fall fashion, the latest hair trends, color palettes and more. To usher in September, we’d like to give you a sneak peek at some of our favorite hair trends.
Looking to try a new hair hue? A-listers are sporting haute honey, which will brighten and complement just about every complexion. Depart from your typical blonde or brunette and go for a rich gold tone instead. If you’re not convinced, opt for face-framing honey highlights. Your classiness factor instantly skyrocketed.
Bad hair days be gone! Never get caught with a bad hair day when you try one of this season’s updos or down-dos. Downtown chick meets uptown with a voluminous updo. Tease at the crown, wear a low, messy chignon or go boho chic with braids. Rule #1: There are no rules, so inject some fashionable flair into your strands and never leave the house worrying what someone is going to think of that bedhead again.
We also caught the never-fail ponytail on the runways of Alexander Wang, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs. Models for Dries Van Noten and Gucci sported ponies with a little bit of bling and peacock feathers respectively. Nothing like amping up the hotness with a simple accessory.
